Survey results published by TASC today show that 85% of respondents believe wealth distribution in Ireland is unfair, and an equal number (85%) believe that the Government should take active steps to reduce the gap between high and low earners. Unfortunately, two later polls showed far less degree of commitment than the TASC survey suggests is present in Irish society.
ReplyDeleteIn the local and the European elections, 57% voted for Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael, neither of which are noted for policies that reflect the values people told the TASC pollers they want.
