Good questions - and I would have many more. The arse was beginning to fall out of the economy in 2007 - Sep. 2008 was just the coup de grace. I was posing these kinds of questions and some answers back then. Nobody wanted to listen then - in the same way as they don't want to listen now. Surely all our 'experts' should have some idea of the answers by now.
In any event, it probably doesn't matter, because it is likely 'events' will overtake this wishful thinking and intellectual masturbation.
